Partners

Yorkshire Gold Business Club is proud to have some of the region’s leading names in business as partners. Together, we can offer companies in Yorkshire and Humber everything they need to maximise the opportunities presented by events and developments such as the London 2012 Games and Crossrail development for upgrading the London Transport system.

Square 5 Business Networks Ltd
Yorkshire Gold Business Club is delivered by Square 5 Business Networks.

It specialises in bringing small and medium sized businesses together so they can access new commercial opportunities and win bigger contracts that they might otherwise not be eligible for. Also, by working proactively with buyers in the private and public sectors, Square 5 helps generate new business opportunities for its members.

CompeteFor
Working closely with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the Olympic Delivery Authority, CompeteFor is a brokerage service between buyers throughout the London 2012 supply chain and potential suppliers. It also provides Business Link Yorkshire with access to business support services which build skills and capacity to ensure that companies can access opportunities linked to the 2012 Games. Businesses of any size can use CompeteFor services whether as buyers or suppliers of Games-related goods and services.

Yorkshire Gold
Launched by the Yorkshire Committee for the London 2012 Games, Yorkshire Gold is the region's initiative for making the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games work harder for Yorkshire and Humber. It is a focal point for the talents, energies and expertise of many agencies like Welcome to Yorkshire and Sport England. ‘Winners in Business’ is the 5th Golden Opportunity in Yorkshire Gold's strategy. This outlines how partners are supporting regional companies to access business opportunities for the 2012 Games. The Yorkshire Gold Business Club is a key initiative in delivering these aims.
